Reserved Row Signs

Juwel, on May 11, 2021 at 12:10 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 5

Do I put the "Reserved Row" signs on the inside or outside of the aisle? I keep seeing photos of them on the inside but I thought only the bride walks down the center? Just worried guests won't see them if they avoid the aisle and enter from the outside. Thank you!

Typically the guests enter down the center. Reserved signs would be on the inside. Let your ushers know who is sitting where.

Oh I had no idea, thank you!

We won't have ushers or a coordinator, so hoping for the best! Lol. (We did communicate to the family members whom the rows are reserved for though).

This is a good question that I never thought about! We'll have our guests entering from the outside and only the wedding party will go down the center. I was planning to put the signs on the inside, but I didn't even think about the fact that the aisle will blocked off 🤦‍♀️

In my experience as both a bride and a wedding guest is that guests will walk down the aisle. This is why guests are seated long before the bride makes her entrance and why the flower girl traditionally throws the flower petals right before the bride comes down the aisle.

We are having our guests walk on the outside to their chairs. So we are putting them on the outside. We have a custom aisle runner that we don't want a bunch of guests walking on. I guess it depends on how you plan on having your guests walk to their seats. Typically like others said they walk down the middle of the aisle to their seats.
