Restaurant reception recs for San Diego microwedding??

My fiancé and I have decided to forego a traditional wedding and instead have a simple, small ceremony at a park with only immediate family and best friends, and then head to a restaurant for our reception. In total, there will be around 15-20 people. Hoping to find a restaurant in San Diego or Temecula that has a beautiful, classy ambiance without breaking the bank. Does anyone have recommendations?? I’m thinking something like Herringbone in La Jolla, only I don’t think they have a private dining room. Thank you!!

Are there any restaurants that are special to you and your SO? You could look into restaurants that have a great reputation for food and then inquire about a private dining area for your wedding.

I am planning the exact same style of wedding in San Diego too! I am also looking at Herringbone and they do have a private loft that could be perfect (they call it semi-private because it’s not fully enclosed/overlooks the main dining room but seems pretty private to me).

I’m planning the same kind of wedding as well! We’re going with Herb & Wood in Little Italy since they have a few private and semi private rooms to choose from depending on the size of your guest list. We’re doing 25 to 30 in a room that maxes out at 40 so it’ll be nice and cozy!

I recently went to a very intimate reception only wedding celebration for approximately 20 people at Gravity Heights in Sorrento Valley. Lovely private space on the second floor with it's own entrance from the outside.
