Restaurant suggestions

Jodi, on May 31, 2019 at 4:30 PM Posted in Nevada Planning 0 6

We are having a very intimate ceremony. Only 12 people attending. We are thinking of just going to a restaurant afterward. Any suggestions for Reno Nevada? Maybe family style . I'm not sure about a buffet, but am open to any suggestions. Thank You

I'm not helpful here as i am not from reno but i would suggest finding a place that has private dining rooms you can use/book. i'm sure if you go on yelp you could find some.

I agree! Will feel more special that way. If you let them know it’s for a wedding reception, they may have candles or other simple decor you can use as decor for free.

Hi Jodi! Welcome to the WeddingWire community!!

Are you from the Reno area? Do you have any favorite restaurants that you love to go to? If so, then it would be great to go to a restaurant that means something special to you to celebrate your marriage.

If you are not from the area, then I would start researching restaurants that have some great online reviews. If you will be in Reno between now and your wedding date, it could be a great opportunity to try out some restaurant choices to make sure that you get a great one for your wedding.

Do you know what type of food you be your preference? Smiley smile

Louis Basque Corner or Johnny’s Ristorante Italiano would be my top suggestions for more traditional sit down or family style (in the case of Louis). But of course that depends on what your food preference is! And there are so many nice restaurants inside the casinos downtown. The caterer who is doing our wedding, Roundabout Catering, actually has a restaurant inside the Whitney Peak Hotel. Just called Roundabout Grill. That is definitely one that’s worth looking into because their food is outstanding!
Hopefully something in here will be helpful to you!

Like Madelyn had mentioned, Louis Basque Corner downtown is pretty known for being a family style restaurant. There are plenty of nice restaurants in Reno that can happily section of an area for you and your family and friends. Twisted fork is wonderful. Or even maybe somewhere downtown or In a casino for easy access for entertainment
