Return Address Embosser

JennaPie, on July 10, 2013 at 11:47 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

Ok, so after everyone's help with my invitation/pocketfolds/return address questions, I've decided to purchase an embosser for our return addresses. I'm thinking about getting something like this

http://www.thestationerystudio.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.viewItem&itemId=3112849&productId=36679&catId=851

but instead of the last name, just put "Wes & Jenna" in the center. Thoughts? Opinions? Has anyone ever used embossers for return addresses? What about this particular company?

And that BIG S will be your new last name's first initial? I think that's so cute!!!

I kinda wish we had a permanent home (now renting) so we could do that!

It will be an H, but yes! I figured we could use it until we move -which I'm hoping us never because I want to buy the house we rent. It is an old craftsman home that was renovated and split into 3 units, the whole downstairs being ours. If we bought it, we'd have 2 rental properties upstairs to pay our mortgage! I think I've been watching too much HGTV....

I love it. I was going to get an embosser too until I realized half of our invitations are going so far that the address would flatten and be hard to read.

I just did address labels like a normal envelope. I was told if there is any address anywhere buy the front it may get lost and youll need something to do the RSVP returns anyways. Have you thought of a stamp instead of an embosser?

I'm doing calligraphy on the front of the envelope, so I feel like a label or even a stamp would be out of place...especially on the front. I did learn that you can use ink to color the embossing so that its more visible if needed. The post office is so obnoxious sometimes with their rules. I get it, but its really annoying.
