For those of you who made/printed your own invitations, what did you do for return addressing. What I mean is did you hand write, print, use an ink stamp or use labels for your return address on both the invites and the RSVPs. I plan on hand writing where the invitations are going to but wondered what was easier for the other parts. While clearing out to move I found a brand new supply of clear address labels. I immediately thought I could use those, but doing some research I read that address labels are considered tacky. I understand the "do what you want" aspect but my invitations are formal looking and my wedding itself is semi formal so I do want some consistency. What do you think? 💜

We will be hand addressing our invitations.. To me it is more personal. It just adds that extra touch to the receiver. We have 150 invites.

I used a custom stamp with our first names and address. That way I can reuse it later!!

I hand wrote everything on all of the envelopes and by time I was done I wish I had used labels. Hand writing is a nice touch but in the grand scheme of things I don't think anybody cares.

We bought plain Avery address labels and typed up addresses for every one, and return address ones. Cost about $8 and only took a couple minutes (besides typing in all the addresses)

LOL OMG some people think *address stickers* are tacky?!?!??

I fail to see what is SOOOO insanely special about a wedding vs any other black tie or big event that we can't treat them all the same in terms of stuff like this.... and I was raised EXTREMELY formally and old-fashioned.

Some people spend their lives trying to find things to be offended about..... seriously, save the hand cramps and just do the stickers. I certainly wish I'd have had the opportunity, but we were all about saving money and in between addresses at the time so I'd have had to order some for each address.

I ordered Labels in the accent color. They can be used for Invitations, RSVPs, and Thank you cards.
