Reuse Mom's wedding dress

I restored my mom's Wedding veil. It cost $150 and they removed the 80's style headband and added a comb. They were also able to remove the yellow age spots. I went to May Bliss in Rockville Centre on Long Island

There's a dress in my family that my mom, granny, and aunt all wore on their wedding day. I don't fit into it (and they all got divorced so I'm convinced it's bad luck lol) so I decided to display it at my Bridal Shower. My granny cried, and my mom loved it. You could go along this route, or work it into your bouquet, dress, or rehearsal dinner dress!

ETA: Spelling and hiding duplicate comments

I've heard of people using lace from the veil or other parts of the dress to wrap around the bride's bouquet, cutting out heart shaped pieces of mom's dress and sewing it onto theirs, displaying it in beautiful cases/hanging racks at the reception, and little things like that.

My mom got her dress made into a clutch for my wedding by a woman off etsy. Istill beautiful and I was in shock when I saw it!
