Ribbon wands - buy or make?

Anyone make their own ribbon wands? Was it a giant pain in the ass? Should I just buy them? I can get 100 on etsy for like 75 bucks but that seems like a giant waste of money for ribbon on a stick. At the same time the thought of making 100 ribbon wands makes me squirm, and not in the good way.

    Unless you need exactly 100, Oriental trading does 24 for $15. If you can get by with 96, you could save 15 bucks that way.
