Ring Bearers

Those who have had young ring bearers (my nephew will be 2 and 4 by the wedding) what did you have them hold the rings in/on? How did you have them walk down?

Our ring bearer was 3 and he carried a pillow. We did not give him the rings though. The best man had them in his pocket. We didn't want the ring bearer to possibly lose them.

I plan on doing a play on James Bond/Special Agent for my nephews since they are young. Doing “ring security” boxes (can find on amazon) and they are also wearing sunglasses lol Ring Bearers 1

Lol too cute. We already have their outfits picked out and they'll be walking down with their step dad who will be matching them. The older one has sensory issues and the little one is super shy and they're really good with him so we figured that'd be easier so there isn't any (at least not much lol) chaos. I just feel like something is missing.

Have you tried fake pillows? I believe amazon has those as well. And they’re are fake rings attached lol so even if they throw the pillows. It’ll be ok. And just give the real rings to a best man or their step dad

I would Recommend putting costume jewelry on the pillow and have the real rings safe

Thank you. I have a pillow with matching basket for my daughter who's the flower girl but only one pillow. I could attach some random rings to that. But their mom (my FSIL) suggested having them wear necklaces with the rings on them but idk...

Just to be clear... I'm not really looking for what to do with the rings or to use fake or the actual ones but ideas on having them walk down like with what, how, signs, to what song, etc. My question isn't anything to do with rings.

In my sister’s wedding, our nephew carried down a wooden box (that was empty, of course). It was adorable. It was difficult to get him to go where he was supposed to go, but that added to the charm, in my opinion. There was no special song. It was the same one the bridesmaids had.

My ring bearers will be 1 and 2. My mom is going to help them walk or carry them down the aisle.

Our ring bearer is 6 but after attending a wedding where the ribbon broke off a ring pillow and ask the guests had to search for the rings, we took extra precautions. I just got a $2 box from hobby lobby and decorated it myself.

I saw signs on Etsy that I plan on using when my Godson comes down the aisle. It's cute and simple, and it says "I can't be trusted with the rings" or "Has anyone seen the rings?" .. Its playful and cute that will make them shine while they walk down. Maybe you can even get like a personalized on since their stepfather is walking down with them. Like "he can't steal our thunder" or "(insert stepdad's name) lost the rings". Whatever you do, I'm sure it'll turn out great!
