Ring Box? or Boxes?

kalise, on January 13, 2018 at 2:07 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 7

I'm the first of really anyone i know to get married, so this is all a mystery to me!

we have my FH's nephew as our ring bearer, but since he is barely 2 he will be there just to be cute and hold a sign that says "has anyone seen the ring?" and the actual rings will be with the the best man (i think-- he holds them normally??)

anywho, do we just get one box that has both the rings? or two little boxes? i have no idea how the whole exchange goes down. i just want it to be seamless and not awkward.

We had a ring box custom made on Etsy that held both our rings and the best man held it. When it was time for the ring exchange he just took each ring out and gave it to the minister to give to us.

The Mrs Box makes boxes with two slots that are beautiful. Check out their website for options. Warning they are a little pricey.

I got a box on Etsy for our RB to carry, but she didn't have the rings. Our MOH and BM each had one if the rings (MOH had DH's and handed it to me when the time came and the BM had mine and handed it to DH). They didn't have then in boxes. My MOH just carried DH's ring on one of her fingers and the BM just had my ring in his pocket.

They usually just keep them in their pocket. The best man isn't going to want a box in his pocket.

We had a young ring bearer too. He held a toy safe and had sunglasses on as ring security. We gave the rings to best man with large safety pins. He pinned them in his pocket. I'm OCD like that, since we had a first look in a park and lunch, I didn't want a box shape in pics or a chance of them falling out.

We just got a cute box that holds both that says "and the two became one" from hobby lobby for like 6 dollars!
