Ring rubbing and giving me a blister

My engagement ring band isnt big at all. But I have noticed that the ring rubs the palm of my hand (just at the base of finger). I get blisters on the little pad of skin under my finger.

I have realised that it has been happening for months and months.

Anyone experience this?

    It happens to me. I'd describe mine a little more as calluses rather than blisters.

    Can't say that I have, with any ring I've owned. I'd go talk to your jeweler about it, they should have a solution.

    Are you sure it's rubbing that's giving you the blister? You could be allergic to the metal?

    98% sure. No rash or marks or anything, just blister on that one spot where it touches the pad of skin. It hasn't always happened with this ring but it is not a brand new thing either.

    I have other jewelry of similar type and quality that doesn't effect me.

    I have a small callous from mine to. I don't let it bug kept cuz it is small and not really noticeablel. What does irritate me is the dry skin I have under my ring. Lol. Seems like I constantly taking my ring off to exfoliate my finger and moisturize. Lol if it want gold I would wonder about being sensitive to the metal
