Right now I have the Ring Snuggie things that come from Walmart on my Engagement ring. I have tiny fingers. I don't want to get my Ring sized because I've been working on gaining weight and I also am sure I'll have another baby someday. I've read about the sizing beads jewelers put on and also other forms of ring sizers that are like the ring snuggie. I just feel like the ring snuggie is too bulky? Any suggestions at what you would do as an alternative to getting your ring sized?

They would! That's where I got mine.

Be aware, they aren't actual jewelers most times at Kays. I consulted with my mom's jeweler before taking it to them to see if resizing would cause me issues later. The ladies behind the counter tried to tell me it would be okay just resizing, but I was adamant and they put in an order for one in my size to be made. It can take up to 90 days to come in, but mine was right around 60 days. Kays will also put a temporary sizer on your ring that is too large for you in store.

How long have you had it? I think mine counted as an exchange, which I think you can only do within 90 days but I'm not positive. It wouldn't hurt to ask though!

And it didn’t cost anything? I’ve had mine almost a month. My promise ring my fiancé got me he got a ring guard on from Kay’s. But I don’t want that on my engagement ring because it can leave scratches. Getting a ring made in my size would be so perfect. Until then I ordered the ring noodle things from amazon to see if those will work better than this ring Snuggie thing. Thank you!

It did not cost me anything at all. I do have the extended warranty plan, but I think kays will do exchanges for anyone within a certain time frame so I would go there ASAP.

They put the order in their system, and if it can't be fulfilled they will call you within 48 hours. They will be making you a whole new ring (same design, different size), so if they can fulfill it I wouldn't worry about the scratches the sizer can make on your ring now. Hope it works out for you!! 😊

I bought these too and I love them! I have arthritis so my knuckles are much bigger than my fingers. It took a couple days to get used to, but now it's just a part of my ring that I'm totally used to!

My ring is sized at a 5.5 and it spins. I’ve got this little rubber piece on there and it holds it in place and feels much better.

Hi! I also have a Neil Lane and was sized as a 6.5 initially back in December... FH proposed with the exact ring I had tried on in February, and it was a lot looser (guess I'd eaten a lot of Chinese food or sodium that day, lol.) I too tried the ring snuggie from Walmart before I got sick of the bulkiness and decided to have my ring resized down to a 5.5 at Kay's (where he bought it) for free, and it only took about a week and 4 days! I highly recommend figuring out the exact size of the ring and having it resized down at least a half size!

So I decided to try another quick fix ring sizer and this one is much less bulky when it’s on. However when you remove your ring you’re more likely to loose the resizer than if you were using the coil.
