Rings! Will you wear your engagement ring forever?

I actually don't wear mine anymore. It's sort of cumbersome to me. My wedding band is extremely thin and feels like it isn't there so I like wearing that alone.

FH was under the impression that I wanted a new ring but I told him I just wanted a band to go with my e-ring. The main diamond in my e-ring was in his moms e-ring I love it!

I will probably opt to sometimes only wear my wedding band depending on what we’re doing, because the setting of my e-ring is raised a fair amount off my finger. I’ll wear my engagement ring most of the time though. FH put a lot of thought (and money) into it so I can’t imagine just tossing it in a drawer once we’re married.

My engagement ring was bought as a set so I will probably alternate with wearing them both or just wearing the band. As PP said fiance's hard earned money and thought went into it so I can't imagine myself just never wearing it. I may buy a similar band in the future so I can wear that on vacations or something so I don't lose the real ones.

I love my engagement ring and my husband was clever enough to get a set, so the band matches perfectly and I plan on keeping wearing them both.

I'm probably going to switch my engagement ring over to my right hand and wear just my wedding band on the left. Right now I have my promise ring on my right hand but I'll probably let that ring go into retirement. It's been through a lot (was wearing it when I had my bad car accident a few years ago and the band got bent wonky and the stone rattles around in its setting).

Growing up my mom always only wore her wedding band and not also engagement ring so I didn't even realize wearing both was more common until relatively recently.

*Edit to add* FH and I got bands that match each other, but doesn't go with my engagement ring at all. But I'd rather have me and FH's ring look like they belong together than my wedding band and engagement ring.

I’m only wearing my e-ring. I’ve never liked the two-band look.

I'll definitely wear both. I helped pick out and design both of them, and I absolutely love my engagement ring. I think if anything, I'd wear it by itself instead of the band by itself haha

I plan on keeping my engagement ring to wear daily. Might not even get a wedding ring because I think it's silly to get something to wear once and I can't seem to find anything that stacks well with the engagement ring.

I'll wear both my engagement ring and wedding band. My band is curved to fit my e-ring and doesn't look great without it. I do have silicone bands that I wear to the pool, gym, etc.

My e-ring is gorgeous and everything I want so I will just be adding the matching band as my wedding band. Here is a pic of the set together! 100 Days for me!

My wedding band is just a plain white gold 2 mm band. I wear it alone sometimes since the tiffany setting on my e-ring sits up high but I almost always wear both together. I want to wear my e-ring because I love it, but also, my wedding band was $150 and my e-ring was...well a lot more than that lol. I don't know how much it was (H won't tell me and it doesn't matter) but I know how much time h put into choosing the perfect ring and center stone. He would definitely be upset if I never wore it.

Wedding Bands

I have a proposal ring, an engagement ring, and a wedding band. My proposal ring stays on my right hand, my engagement ring and wedding band are on my left.

However, my wedding band and engagement ring were a set, so they fit into each other.

I plan on wearing my e-ring and my wedding band. It's a set, so they fit naturally together. Thankfully my e-ring doesn't sit too high and pretty dainty. It's a sapphire, and blue is my favorite color! I also have a sapphire Enso band, as well as a thinner diamond one for when I go to the gym, swimming, cleaning, and other activities that would damage my rings. I would also use those as a set when the time comes.

So far I have been wearing both rings. I haven't even gave it a thought to wear just the band. For now I can say that I will be wearing my set everyday.

I will be wearing both. I love my e-ring and the center diamond is from my FH's grandmother's ring. I found a band that matched the style of my e-ring so that I could wear them together.
