Rings

Julie, on April 20, 2020 at 4:03 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
I need some suggestions on choosing rings. Our budget is $3000 and we aren’t fancy people needing expensive jewelry. However, I want something that will last.
I don’t know anything about rings and there are so many choices. Help please!!!

Thank you!

Look on pintrist and go to jewelry stores to see what styles you guys like. My fiancé choose a ring from Revolution jewelry designs. It’s Black zirconium and Damascus steel. It’s pretty darn cool! I’d check the we site out for something different. My band matches my engagement ring, so just white gold band with diamond and sapphires

My friend ordered their rings from overstock and they were great quality and had a good warranty!

I’m a huge fan of tungsten for men’s rings. When we went to try on rings we quickly learned yellow or white gold doesn’t match my FH skin tone. We ended up going to Kay and found a tungsten band that looks like rose gold and it looks amazing on him. (I know rose sounds girly but it doesn’t look pink lol and fits him very well) I got it on sale for $250 and he found my band there for the same price

What does your engagement band look like?
    Do you want to match?
Silver or gold?Thin or thick band?
Those are quite important when looking for wedding bands. Suggest searching wedding bands and look online to see what’s out there and cross off what you don’t like then when stores open check and try on in stores. 🙂

My fiancé works in production and assembly. Therefor he won’t be wearing his real band at work. We are getting him a rubber band. He specifically asked to not spend a lot on his so we could spend more on mine. Walmart has a tungsten band that he really liked (actually was identical to the one at kays) for $75.

If you're interested in untraditional rings, I highly digest checking out Mejuri! Everything is under $2,500, and i was drawn for how pretty and unique the style was. I love my ring (the diamond cluster)!

I definitely recommend doing research on STONES. I did extensive research and compared real diamonds to moissanite diamonds (lab created) and at the end of the day I think it was the BEST money saving decision I've ever made. I never really wear bling cus its traditionally something women do after marriage in my family. I went to jewelers (there are mail in try on services too) to try on every style before picking the cut, carrot, setting etc. My moissanite ring is from Moissanite & Co and it looks 100% like a real diamond, great real white gold band and they have a lifetime warranty. No one knows my diamond ring isnt worth $6k - and even less people know we paid $1k for a 2ct ring.Rings 1

Another thing to keep in mind are the warranties on rings, especially depending on how elaborate your rings are! My engagement ring was bought through ShaneCo and they give a full lifetime warranty on it, which can be passed down to a family member, as long as I take it in once every six months for maintenance and cleaning. I have a ring that I had to get resized down, which creates issues with the pave diamonds falling out... I've had to get three replacements so far, but they'll always do them for free for as many times as I need because of the warranty.

Because of that experience, we decided to only get our wedding bands from a retailer that could offer a warranty like that because it created such peace of mind for both of us.

My husband got my engagement ring (it's a moissanite - not diamond) and his wedding band from Elemental Bands. We got my wedding ring - solid gold - from a local jeweler. I think he paid like $1200 total for his band and my engagement ring
