If you're up for a challenge, take a look at Katy Hearn's programs. I'm big into weight lifting and fitness - I track macros and calories for all my meals. I do her programs when I feel like I'm running out of ideas. A few of my bridesmaids are doing them too, and the results are incredible. It is an 8 week program and you do have to stick to it if you want to see results.

I am in the same boat as you! I was roughly 140 when I met my fiance 5 1/2 years ago; we got engaged in January and I topped the scale at my heaviest of 180; and trying to get down to 130 by our wedding in Sept 2019. So far, I have gone from 180 to 165, just by being diet conscious and being more active. I got a FitBit, been reading/following many nutritionists (my favorite is Kelly Leveque, JJ Virgin, Max Lugavere, Rachel Paul, McKel Hill, Kirsten Neilan) for tips and tricks. I have learned, you can't work-out a bad diet. Also learned that Keto, Mediterranean, Atkins, Whole30, Intermittent Fasting, etc all only work if you are making sure your calories in are less than your calories out. I will say I did try Keto fo a a week or two, and just didn't find it worked for my lifestyle (it left me sooo dehydated, with cotton mouth, and found I wasn't sleeping). Really it's about getting protien, fat, fiber & greens at every meal and trying to limit your meals to 3x a day (7am breakfast, 12:30 lunch, & 6pm dinner with a bridge snack between lunch and dinner of fat & protein). I also make sure I wake-up in the morning and do a 30 minute YouTube workout video before breakfast will give you the same benefits as IF since you get a huge surge of human growth hormones by doing a fasted workout; but if I'm really tired, I listen to my body and just make sure it's an active day of walking around and getting 10,000+ steps in if I miss my workout. So eating whole nutritious foods is key, as well as getting lots of water. But you can eat all the nutritious foods in the world, but it won't do any good if you don't log your calories and actually see how much you are in-taking daily, including alcohol (which is my biggest issue for me and why my weight isn't decreasing as fast as I would like). But whatever you do, don't go for serious low calorie intake, otherwise you will destroy your metabolism. This is why FitBit was so helpful for me. I pair it up with MyFitnessPal and I log EVERYTHING as well as daily stepping on the scale. It makes me aware of what I'm doing and a daily check-in with myself. You just gotta be consistent girl! You got this!

I did the Optavia 5&1 program! It focuses on making sure you get all the recommended amounts of vitamins and nutrients every day by eating specific snacks. It's a little expensive but it basically replaces your grocery/eating out bill every month. I lost 20 pounds in 2 months! It's low carb, low dairy, low calorie, low sugar and some of the snacks are gluten free as well. It sounds difficult but it's literally been the easiest/most effective diet I've ever been on. Look into it! Smiley smile
