I'm 15 years older than NotFroofy. We were 47 and 32 when we met, 56 and 41 when we married. But given all we went through to get married, no one was making any negative comments.

FH is 5 years older. No comments but I think that is a pretty 'normal' age difference.

I think Stephanie is right, it depends on what age and stage in life you are about the comments you may or may not get.

He's younger than i am! he was born a month and two years after me. he used to always make comments about it in jokes because he knew it bothered me from the beginning. we both went into our friendship thinking we were both the same age lol. and when we both figured it out, it was too late to care.

FH is exactly nine months older than me. We joke and say when he was born, I was being conceived. Lol. No comments about our age difference. But age is just a number, and love is love. I don't think it matters who is older.
