Usually when you purchase there is a comment or note box where you give the seller the details of the order. You can also message the seller and ask them how they take custom orders.

You should contact the seller and they will help you

^ Correct. There is a box when you checkout that says "Note to Seller" where you can type details. You should also read the entire listing - the seller will usually explain exactly how they want to be notified of customization.

I have contacted multiple sellers and so far haven't had any of them message me back.

Everything PPs have said. Normally, the Etsy sellers spell everything out. Or just message them.

Jessica, when you go to check out on Etsy, there is a "Note to Seller" box where you would type in the information for the robes. I ordered water bottles for my girls and I had to be specific on what I wanted. Here's an example:

    Maid of Honor

    Size: M

    Color: Aqua

    Name: Jessica

    Bridesmaid

    Size: L

    Color: Aqua

    Name: Lilly

So since i am getting 6 personalized robes I would have to enter the info for each individual one? I just want to make sure I am doing this the correct way because I've never done it before!

Yes - but again, all of the instructions are on the Etsy site. I just looked at her shop, and everything is listed under "Item details"

I'm a seller on Etsy and sadly Etsy doesn't make orders of multiple customized things super user friendly.

When someone orders bridesmaids hoodies from me, they pick the size and colors for each hoodie and add those to their cart. Then, once they hit "checkout" and start the checkout process, there will be a box towards the end that says "Seller Notes" where they can type in exactly what they want, who's name goes on what size hoodie, etc.

PLEASE go back to the listing for the robes and read the information under the picture. The seller most likely has posted instructions on the information he/she needs you to provide and even how to do it (some prefer to be private messaged so they can set up a custom listing for you manually).

I can't tell you how many times customers have skipped over my details/instructions and then leave bad reviews when what they order is not as expected (I sell handmade ornaments during the holidays and they are a FLAT M&M shape, not a ball, and I state it 300 times in my listing, yet STILL get tons of people leaving me poor reviews because they can't take the time to read).
