Anyone else going to the Rocky Mountain Bridal Show at the Colorado Convention Center next weekend 4/14/19? Have you been to any other bridal shows? Have you won any of the raffles?
There was a bridal show in Fort Collins a couple of weeks after we got engaged and my cousin and I got free tickets so we went hoping for ideas. There were so few vendors we didn't really get any good leads. However, I "won" a bridal pampering package from a Mary Kay Rep, a boudoir photography shoot, $500 off a venue that I realized was way out of our budget when I got a quote from them, and a free engagement photo session from a photographer in Colorado Springs that required we travel to their studio for the shoot so I rejected it because we want to do pictures in RMNP. I just feel like it's a bit crazy we "won" so many things, and I feel like we "won" just so they can sell us on hiring them for the wedding. Maybe I'm just being cynical.
