The vintage idea would work too...wow those cakes are nice. Getting some ideas going now. Its hard cause my man wants to be so involved so its hard with both of us throwing ideas in.

If you have an idea of what you want, you could try etsy.com. You can post what you want and people sort of quote the project. They tell you what they can make and how much they charge for it. I don't know if this is what you're really looking for, but it's an idea!

By the way, the black shoes in the picture collage are sooo amazing. I love them.

I was thinking that you wear a black dress and your BMS wear like deep red or ruby.

There are also alot of China based websites that make custom dresses and can make it in any color you want. I did this but made sure i did ALOT of research to make sure the dress would be good quality and wasnt going to be a rip off. I asked for photos of dresses they had made for other customers and if they did not want to show me I didnt consider them any further. The one I ordered from has decent prices and Great quality dresses and they didnt try to rush me to order. The webite says no cutsom dresses but if you email them they will do it for you.

Yeah my bridesmaids I've already decided on deep purple dresses. etsy is something I've started to check into already, they have a lot of cool things on there even if just for ideas.

We have the same kind of idea going on! But I know my family - they are hardcore catholics and it's already pushing it getting married outside, so i'm having a white dress with black accents to make them and me happy lol. Check out my IB Boards if you wanna see stuff I've come up with so far

Looking at china based companies is a really good idea. That is what I did also. I had been looking at a Maggie Soterro gown for months but could not make myself pay the price. I found a company in china that made a dress that was very similar and they let me choose the color of the dress and accents. They also made it to my exact measurements.

Luckily my family is very laid back.Actually my stepfather will be preforming it and hes pagan, so the ceremony itself is going to be irish/pagan hand-fasting. His family is a little more religious but they are okay with what were doing,they said its our wedding do what we want.

What kind of dress are you looking for? Ball gown, mermaid, stealth, empire...? Maybe we can help How do you feel about a while dress with black accents like a black ribbon or black details? Just to let you know, most places can dye your dress. If you know of a place that has "your dream dress" just ask them to dye it you might have to pay extra money for it, but I don't think it should be a problem ^^
