Room Conversion

Arlene, on October 2, 2020 at 11:02 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6

Hi Hi y'all

Soooo, the countdown is in full swing and the butterflies are beginning to gnaw in my belly. 13 days to go! Squee!

My mom is getting a room for us at the same hotel where the ceremony will be so us ladies can get all purdy for the day of. But then I want to have it decked out for the hubs and me later. Of course I'd like something dreamy and romantic for us when we get back to the room, so just curious . . .

What would you do to enhance your room for your wedding night?

Congratulations! We’re having candles, wine and a collection of movies that we love. 🖤

Some treats of favorite foods. They say brides often forget to eat at the wedding. I know of a couple who ran to a taco shop after their wedding cuz they didnt eat.

We didn't have anything. We also just passed out pretty much immediately after getting out of our wedding clothes. On our honeymoon we had rose petals and champagne.

I actually don’t think you need any outside items to enhance the room. YOU can be the “enhancement” yourself. Step into the bathroom for moment and come out with something sexy on... or nothing at all and heels. I’m sure your FH will remember that more than any candles, petals or champagne. 😉

We didn't stay in a hotel, we just went home.

Peeled ourselves out of the finery.... and collapsed.

You can certainly do something nice to the room, but... wedding nights aren't known for being romantic. They are very known for sleeping a good 10 hours after, though!

Well, our first night is in a cabin with a gas fireplace. That’s the main enhancement, but we’re bringing candles too. We’re staying from Saturday night to Monday, so we’re bringing food for cooking breakfast as well.
