Rose petals, rice, confetti, bubbles?!!!?

Love all of the ideas!! I am torn between confetti and bubbles!!!

I would consult your venue before anything. My venue gave me some advice about what works best for the space. They do expect the area to be clean for the next day so we're going the bubble route. I would urge you to avoid rice if it's outdoors. You may even want to avoid birdseed if the venue doesn't want to attract birds.

We're having an outdoor ceremony, so I think we're doing grass seed.

My venue told me that we could do whatever we wanted!

The rice thing is actually a myth, it doesn't hurt birds, but venues usually don't allow it because it's hard to clean up and easy for people to slip on.

I really wanted to do confetti, but our venue will charge like $100+ for clean up if we use them. So instead we're going to use those little party poppers. Technically, they aren't confetti, they're streamers. We'll just have to tell everyone to please not aim them directly at the B and G. If my dress gets messed up because of someone....

We have saved every rose petal from all the roses that FH has given me over the years. I'm going to use them. It's a big bag :-)

Staci, I want to use glitter too and surprisingly FH is really excited about it, well as excited as a man can be about glitter. Otherwise we probably would be going with confetti.

We're skipping the toss things at us moment. Our aisle is so short I feel as if it will be over before it begins so we are cutting this expense. Karen, that is so sweet that you have all the rose petals from the flowers FH has given you. Adorable.

I think that bubbles are adorable and an easy clean up!! However, some of the ladies have some great ideas for something unique and different...I would stick with something that will be simple for your weddings sake but make it unique to you and your love <3
