Roses and Babys Breath Floral

Devora, on November 23, 2015 at 4:16 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7

For my wedding i plan on using baby's breath and red roses. Has anyone had this floral combination and how much did the florist charge you. I am also planning on having the BM Bouquets, and GM's Boutonnieres be baby breath. I will add pictures. My ceremony is going to be outside and for the aisle I want to decorate with the big Chinese Red Lanterns on the ground with baby's breath in it tied with ivory ribbon. Please show pics if you've had a wedding like this. Thank you!

Welcome to WW! I don't have anything to add, except that the price of florals can vary drastically based on your location, type of flowers, time of year, and even just experience/expertise of your florist. If you change your avatar, you will get more responses! The rings as associated with spam/trolls.

Hi Devora! Like @annakay511 said, flower prices vary greatly based on all those things (and also update the picture in your avatar like she suggested!)

For a red rose bridal bouquet you'll probably be looking at $200-$300. Baby's breath is much cheaper but you will need a lot of it! Here's a post from a bride who used baby's breath:

I heard from my florist that baby's breath are definitely one of the cheapest flowers you can get. You get a bunch of them for a cheap price. I think she said roses are about $2 a flower but I'm sure it will location by area. And that's not including the florist fee.

My bridesmaids will have baby's breath bouquets and they cost $45 per bouquet. This was my inspiration picture for BM's bouquets. My bouquet will have white spray roses, baby's breath, and hydrangeas, and it's costing me $145.

This was the inspiration for my bouquet. Obviously not red, but just to give you an idea of similar flowers and what I'm paying for them.

Hi Devora! I was also looking into this, and a full baby's breath centerpiece was quoted to me at $35-$40, so then add on some for roses. Also depends on if you're open to DIY-ing flowers? Not a florist obviously, but I bought some baby's breath, spray roses and carnations at the flower market for $25, and I got 2 full and one small centerpiece mock up out of it.
