rsvp for plus one

Dawn, on September 14, 2022 at 8:45 PM Posted in Account Support 0 6

I have a question about the RSVP. I only see that one guest can reply, but what about the plus one? I don't see an option where they can add a + one. This is important to have an accurate count for the reception.

Any suggestions?

I just accounted for plus ones and added a few on my guest list to them. It lets them leave you a note as well so they could make sure you know they are bringing one that way too.

I linked guests together. So if I had a guest I added a plus one for them so when they searched their name to rsvp, a section for guest popped up as well. So you can click "related guest" and just write "guest" in the name section or their name if you want.

So for instance, here's what it would look like for one of our guests when they went to RSVP. So if I included a plus one for him, there would be another option under his name that said "guest" and he would be able to confirm or deny for that guest. Hope that helps!

I should add that this was on my phone but it looks the same on the computer as well if you do that way

Hi Dawn! The way the WeddingWire RSVP works is that you have to individually add every single guest to your guest list - guests can not RSVP for any additional guests on their own!

Here's a great tutorial on how to add plus ones to your guest list:

I'd add to Taylor's point that when I had a guest with a +1 and I didn't know who it would be, I named them "Guest of John Smith" so if John Smith typed in his name to RSVP online, his guest would pop up too. It also avoids the confusion of having a bunch of people just named "Guest"
