Some people have been RSVPing to my parents instead of me, lol

Biggest frustration so far is just how few we have received with just over a week left until our rsvp date. And most of those are our closest friends and family! So I’m anticipating lots of phones calls following that date, but oh well... funniest is when my little sister and bridesmaid responded with “no” and wrote in “obviously jk!” Lol! Or my friend who wrote in a line that said “undecided” (even though she’s one of my closest friends and we have been wedding planning together because she’s getting married the week after us!)

The most annoying thing for me is that my MIL to be keeps trying to convince me that I have no control over the RSVPs. I know that is true to an extent, but seriously. I’ve been sharing with her that we will have a lot of RSVPs we’re waiting on. And we’ve also had people say “oh we’ll be there!” But I haven’t gotten theirs yet. No you may not verbally RSVP to me, be an adult and send it in the freakin’ mail. I put stamps on all the return envelopes. Also, I try talking to her about how it that RSVP date comes and we will don’t have answers then we will need to start making phone calls and all she says is “the nos just won’t come”. And I’m over here looking at the guest list and it’s literally all of her side that isn’t RSVPing. Almost my entire side of the guest list has RSVPed and I’ve only gotten an handful of her peeps. Head count so far is 93 and we invited 170. I love her to death but damn she is really irritating me with this 🙃
