rsvp return envelopes

Can wedding RSVP envelopes be addressed to the future bride and groom, or is it suppose to be the bride’s parents? Our invitations state “together with our families.”

Both sets of parents are contributing different amounts. I have bought stuff for the wedding, as well.

The RSVP envelopes should be addressed to whoever is keeping track of the guest list and RSVPs. Most of the time, the return envelopes are addressed to the couple.

Every wedding we have attended had the bride and groom’s names but the address varied depending on the address where they were collected.

If the engaged couple is hosting or co-hosting their wedding and living together then it would be addressed to both but with the bride’s current, never the future name. Alternatively, they can be addressed to the parents if they are co-hosting. Who is contributing or how much has nothing to do with it.

Agree with Lisa. It should be whoever is tracking responses and final counts for vendors.
