rsvp to Ceremony

You should assume that everyone attending will be at the ceremony.

The only time I’ve ever seen people skip the ceremony is when there’s a large gap between ceremony and reception. If your reception is immediately following the ceremony you can assume everyone is coming to both.

I considered it but decided against it. But we dont have to rent chairs.

Unless you have a large gap between ceremony & reception or a large driving distance (more than 30 minutes), assume everyone going to the reception will also go to the ceremony.

I actually did this mostly because i know people in my culture largely do not attend the ceremonies. and because i needed to actually rent chairs for my ceremony, i didn't want to rent too many so i had the option of ceremony only on my invites.
