rsvp zola website!

Melanie, on November 10, 2019 at 9:11 PM Posted in Community Conversations 1 12
For all of you who use Zola, Do I have to put their exactly names in zola RSVP? For example:
I was checking out Zola’s RSVP system and I wrote my mother’s name down on the RSVP list and it did not allow me to write her name down. I then tried to put mom down and it let me because in my zola guest list I add my mom as “mom” instead of her real name.
It really worries me because I wrote down a lot of my guest list with nicknames because that’s how I use to Call them and it was easier for me, For example “uncle Willy” “auntie mimi” or “dick”
Do I have to fix all of them??? Or is it a passcode that they can put in to RSVP even though their names are not correct ?
I hope I explain myself

They have to type in their name letter for letter as it is in the Zola guest list, and im assuming how it is on their invitation envelope. Yes I think you’ll have to go through and type them all in how they are on the invitation rather than nick names.

If you entered their guest in by specific name then they’ll type in the name as it was addressed. If you gave them a plus one with an unknown name zola will prompt them to type in their guest’s name.

Yes, unfortunately you will have to go into Zola and change the way you inputted everyone's names to match what's on the invitation. People won't know to search by their nickname.

You will have to fix the names, but it’s easy to do on Zola. Just click and type. If they have a plus one it will be added to their RSVP. For example my brother and his family are invited, If he types in his name it comes up with all attached. And then they can individually RSVP for each person on the next page.

You have to write their names down exactly how they'll RSVP!

    For example:

My friend I would put "Sarah Smith" not "bridesmaid sarah".

You can but if you're just giving them a plus one that you dont know their name, you can just add it in as "Guest" and when they RSVP they can change the name themselves.
