So I sent out about 50 wedding invitations… in total are guest list is about 105 people … I’ve only got RSVPs from 9 households and my deadline is August 6th 😳 Maybe just waiting last minute to RSVP .. ugh I’m getting so anxious

Our deadline is Tuesday and I'm still waiting on 50 RSVP's though 10 of them are people I KNOW are coming to the wedding I couldn't tell you why they haven't RSVPd yet lol. I'm hoping this weekend is packed with RSVPs and I don't have to chase people down for them.

It’s seriously so annoying !! Like you should probably already know if you can come or not so just RSVP! 43 people I know are coming .. just waiting on the rest of them to respond makes me anxious 😬

August 6 is pretty early for your wedding date. Some guests may not know yet if they are able to attend.

About 99 % of people are family .. I'm sure people will know if they will be able to attend . I meant to put the RSVP deadline to August 26th but I did August 6th by accident but it is what it is. Also that doesn’t make sense to me anyways they may not know if they can go 6 weeks beforehand ?

Of course you know your guests and their situation better than anyone here. But what I mean is some people may need to request off work or find someone for child care or make travel arrangements and sometimes some of that stuff can't be planned until about 4 weeks in advanced. But if you don't really need to know until August 26th then take that time between to reach out to people! I know it can be annoying and it's not hard to RSVP but I am already preparing to do this too.

Our wedding includes children and only 2 people will be coming from far away! The rest are only about 1 1/2 hours away or less ! Also it’s on a Saturday so most people don’t work that day.

I was just offering a different perspective of possible reasons guests may not know yet.

I agree with this. An RSVP deadline that far out means that people will still think there's plenty of time.

See nope! This is the prime reason I'm attaching a sticky note to my revps letting my guest no that's it's mandatory that they respond by the due date. Otherwise they will not get in the reception.
I have no time for last minute changes.
    Happy Planning 🥂

Many rsvps come in on the last day. What you do is tally all of those on Aug 6 and then whomever is your guest list who has not replied you start calling the afternoon/evening of the 6th and continue until you are done with the list. Do not hang up until they give you a yes or no answer.
