Anyone know how to go about adding guests to their rsvp. It appears like we will have to send an invite to everyone we will to come . Trying to find a way to invite ...let's say.... Joey and his wife would be a +1...thought would be appreciated..thx

In your example, Joey’s wife is not a plus one. She is listed by name and automatically invited as a significant other. You don’t ask people to celebrate your relationship while disrespecting theirs. You don’t get to pick and choose either. All significant others are invited by name as early as say being together 3-4 months, and it doesn’t matter if they are not engaged or married either. A Tinder date is a plus one. A complete random stranger who you you have never met and will never see again and doesn’t want to be there except for free food is a plus one.

Many couples don’t want and can’t afford random strangers for single unattached guests who are not in relationships. It’s common to not allow guests in that case, nor is it impolite to do so despite what the majority says.

Most rsvp cards have a blank space for them to fill out their names. On the envelope, you list all invited guests.

Hi Vincent! Like Michelle said, you want to invite all of your guests by name!!

If the guest has an option to bring anyone as their date (including someone you don't now) - then you should offer them a plus one by addressing their invitation to "Joe Smith and Guest". Then they'll know they can bring a date!
