On my website some guests are having trouble finding their names. Example: John baker is on my guest list, when John logs into site, go to RSVP and types first and last name-search he doesn’t come up.


I go in as guest and type same thing - no result but if I just type John his name populates in its entirety for me to select.
Anyone else having same issues???
It’s creating issues for me ....Uggghhhh!

    I had this exact same issue when I was using WeddingWire’s wedding website. I got a minted one instead and it works so much better. With minted the name doesn’t even have to be exact at all. they could RSVP with a nickname and it will say are ‘you this person’ and they can just select it from there

    Are they added under Wedding and not just overview? I haven’t dealt with this, but I did have issues with my count being different on the Overview and Wedding tabs.

    I had already invested so much into this with photos, hotel block info etc...and already sent them out.

    Hey Suzie,

    Yes they are all under Wedding Invited Guests, as when I send to myself I can see them. I think it may have to to with how they open URL's in their email settings as not all guests had the issue.

    It is doing the same for me. Some people’s names comes up, some don’t, some can’t see their plus ones, some are seeing multiple other peoples rsvps... ugh hope it gets fixed

    support said they didn't have a problem, but Maybe it's because they're on the backside. What I had to do was instruct my guests to do search by last name only or first name but not both. It worked!!

    I linked families/couples together so that when you searched for one it would pull both. Also have them make menu selection before confirmation. Menu selection is a dropdown next to their name.

    What I had to do to determine this was include myself so I could see it from their viiew!

    It seems people are not having trouble finding their names, it’s just on my end I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I figured out the first OR last name option also, which is weird!! But it’s all figured out now. Thanks for your advice Smiley smile
