rsvp

With my invitations I sent RSVP cards but instead of them having to mail them back I made up a wedding email just for RSVPs .. well I’ve gotten some replies for our wedding so far … should I respond back to the email saying thank you for your response or anything like that ?

I don't think people would expect a response, but maybe something like "Your RSVP has been confirmed. Thank you so much, and we look forward to celebrating with you!" and to the "no" RSVP I maybe wouldn't reply.

^ I agree with Bailey. Maybe just say it’s been received or confirmed.

It’s not a requirement, but I probably would personally bc Im the type who would worry if i didn’t hear back after I sent an email that maybe I messed it up some how 🤣

I wouldn’t get personal — just keep it short and sweet so as to not get bogged down by a back and forth with every guest. Just a “thanks for the response! Can’t wait to celebrate with you” for the yeses and a “thanks for the response! Sorry we’ll miss you” for the nos

I think a response is good so people know it was received.

Depending on how many people you invited it could be difficult to send everyone an email (and I think if you email some people you need to for everyone) maybe every week or so you can send 1 group email to everyone who rsvp'd that week (send the email to yourself and then bcc all the guests who rsvp to keep email addresses private. ). Happy planning!

A response is a courteous gesture that you received their reply. Especially since so much gets lost in cyberspace.

Send an automatic response! You can set the auto reply to on and you will no need to worry about it. But just be sure your peeking so that you can see if someone asked a question

I would respond to the "yes" answers, because sometimes things get lost online.
