I'm sure that each of us Spring/Summer brides are probably waiting around anxiously to receive RSVPs from each of our guests, right?!?!

What are some of your trick(s) that have worked for you that made guests return their RSVPs?

What grinds your gears when it comes to waiting for RSVPs?

I know for me, some guests have said, "I will try to make it to the wedding."

This is a really good idea, actually. I don't know why I didn't think of that when preparing our RSVP cards.

I had never been asked to RSVP to a wedding until about 7 years ago. We got a phone call from the bride's parents asking if we were coming because they hadn't received our RSVP. They were right, they hadn't. We had no clue.
Any invitation we had ever gotten looked just like this.

UGH!! We have sent out our invites and I have just had people tell me, 1. they are bring another person who was NOT listed on the invite, and 2. bringing their children. I really hate the audacity of people where they feel like they do not have to ask...instead they tell me. Which, me as a person, finds that extremely rude and I have a less nice tone of voice when communicating back to them that 1. No children are allowed besides our wedding party and 2. no, at this moment we had no clue you were dating anyone and have no room to accommodate. I HATE IT. My fiance and I have been dating for 8 years....there has been PLENTY of time to see us, or invite us out to you. Please don't assume you have a special reservation for whomever you please...it kills me.
