Rules on tipping?

Hi! Asking because i have no clue and would love the feedback please.. whats the rule on tipping venue, photo, video, dj, photo booth and violinist? Is it a must and if so what’s the customary amount? Is it different per vendor or in general ? Thank you in advance for all your help !

Do not tip anyone the day of the wedding. Wait until you come back from your honeymoon and are able to assess all vendors objectively. Do not tip for no shows, bad service or simply showing up to do their job. A tip is only for those who go above and beyond the call of duty.

Tip what you can afford. The industry standard is 20% but not everyone has that much extra cash on hand.

Hey! Check out Jaime Wolfer on YouTube and her advise on tipping. It was a huge help to me as I wanted to just tip everyone lol but, listening to an actual experienced planner was super helpful.
