Rustic Ideas

Toni, on February 13, 2020 at 12:04 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 16
I’m getting married September 5 and we are having a very low-key rustic wedding so I was looking for some great ideas as far as the reception.

What type of ideas? Decorations? Food? Colors? Entertainment?

Well I think having the reception in a large cabin is as rustic as it's going to get. How about string lights, mason jars, things like that? When I think rustic I automatically think greenery and wood tones.

Yeah you can use them as centerpieces, or fill them with homemade jam or similar things for guests to take home as favors. They have a lot of uses! Wishing you the best on your planning journey!Smiley heart

You can buy 25 ft garland from costco for $99! It would be pretty to go on tables or a fireplace mantel! I'd also do lots of candles for the romantic lookSmiley smile My FH and I are going to incorporate deer antlers into our centerpieces because he's big on hunting.

Rustic to me is wood slats, burlap, mason jars, plaid, rusty iron, babys breath...

you can do so much in a cabin and sometimes less is more!

Side note: be careful with the hay bales, though. If I went to a place with them, I'd have to inject my epi pen and I'd have a severe asthma attack because I'm highly allergic to hay.
