Rustic Theme at a country club??

Private User, on May 5, 2015 at 5:16 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 5

I need help on planning and incorporating some rustic ideas for our wedding, which will be at a country club. Those two things don't mesh in my mind but I would love it if anyone had some ideas! Our reception is going to be held in the ballroom... would it look weird/out of place to have mason jars, baby's breath, chalk boards, etc... to get a rustic vibe in a setting like that? I just want to incorporate some things, not go all out.

We also live in Colorado and want a fun idea for wedding table numbers, such as naming/numbering each table after a ski resort or something from Colorado to include that as well.

Thanks for ANY ideas Smiley smile

I'm having a rustic theme with Mason jars and baby's breath and chalkboards and burlap and lace and mine is in a ballroom. Granted it's in a venue called the silo which looks like a barn on the outside but it's not that rustic on the inside besides the ceiling which looks kinda like a barn ceiling. I think yours will look great if you have all of those rustic romantic elements.

You can make the area feel rustic with burlap decorations and props.

Can you post a pic of your venue?

This is a photo from their website. I am sure if I change the lighting and add those touches it will be fine.

You could totally blend the two together with some vintage touches! Old picture frames, shabby chic painted Mason jars, subtle and soft colors - that's what I'm planning. Smiley smile
