    Hi,

I definitely recommend the Bishop Farmstead in Southampton, NJ if you're looking for a rustic barn wedding that still has plenty of class! Check out the link below Smiley smile They work exclusively with Jeffrey A Miller catering (JAM) who provides all fresh, farm to table foods in various menus that you can customize to meet your needs/tastes/budget. I'm getting married at Bishop in September and the planning process has been such a breeze with our coordinator so far - they're super responsive, available to answer questions quickly and are willing to work with you every step of the day to customize your day to be exactly what you'd like! I recommend them 100%!

Hi Brenda! It's great that you have such an involved role in your son and FDIL's wedding!Smiley love

Have you had a chance to look through the WeddingWire venue directory? I started a search for you, I've linked New Jersey Barn & Farm Wedding Venues. You can easily change the location and style of the wedding if you don't feel like you have found what you are looking for. You can also filter by available date and guest count!

I'd love to know if you find something that you like!

You must be so excited to be the mother of the groom!

    Hi Brenda!

I would definitely recommend Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ - we are getting married there in June 2020. JAM catering (mentioned in Amanda's post above) is also the exclusive caterer for Waterloo. The general manager there at Waterloo Village, Maria, is amazing and so easy to work with. The venue itself is beautiful - it is actually a state park/preserved canal town and has so much charm! The cocktail hour and reception spaces are amazing - they also have a large outdoor patio, a gazebo, and a fire pit that can all be used during your son and future daughter in law's day!

The packages they offer also make planning a breeze - not only do the packages they offer include alcohol and delicious farm-to-table cocktail hour and entrees, they also include alcohol, select decor, table centerpieces, cake, coffee bar, etc. which makes planning and coordination so much easier.

    Hi Brenda,

I too recommend taking a look at Bishop Farmstead. The big red barn is beautiful and can fit up to 200 people. They are adding air conditioning in the barn, perfect if it gets hot in September. They have a beautiful area outside for the ceremony. Erika, the general manager gave us a wonderful tour of the barn and has been very responsive to all my emails. You should also take a look at other venues Jeffrey A Miller Catering exclusively caters to.

Perona Farms in Andover, NJ seems to be a really popular venue for that rustic barn feel. I've never been there but multiple people I know gave had weddings there.

Not sure if you found a venue, but you could try the conservatory at Sussex county fairgrounds and perona farms.

    Hi Brenda,

I also highly recommend reaching out to Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ. I will be getting married there this September and from the moment we stepped on the property, my fiance and I knew it was perfect. We also wanted a rustic yet elegant venue and Waterloo had everything we were looking for. From the farm-like property, great big fire places and outdoor firepit, rustic chandeliers and decor, wooden bars, coffee bar, wood beams, several ceremony location options, seclusion from any busy towns or streets and the amount of included items, it was impossible not to book a date that day. The entire staff at Waterloo is extremely accommodating and they are very open and honest about the business they do. They want you to feel like family when you are there. They have a few open houses coming up so I highly suggest going so that you can taste their amazing food made by master chefs and its farm-to-table as well as see how they set-up for weddings, play around with table decor and settings, and ask as many questions as you would like. They are extremely professional and understand how weddings should look, run, and most importantly feel to the couple and their guests.
