Sa wood flowers

Alondra, on October 3, 2019 at 9:14 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7
Hi everyone,
my wedding is in 3 weeks and I’m just now starting the planning of the centerpieces and bouquets, boutonnières and all the stuff that need flowers.(procrastination) 😶🙈I am thinking of using sola wood flowers for all these. Has anyone had any experience with sola wood flowers? If you do, Where did you buy your flowers? What tips do you have for these type of flowers?

thank you.

I do not have experience with them but southern blooms is a popular vendor for them. You might be pressed for time getting your order completed in 3 weeks as people usually wait months for theirs.

I did all the flowers for my wedding using sola wood flowers. I ordered mostly from solawoodflowers.com As long as you order ASAP, you will get them in time. If you order them already dyed, it can delay it a bit. I did my bouquet, 5 bridesmaids, 4 corsages, 8 boutonnieres, 12 centerpieces, and flowers for the backdrop. It took me a decent amount of time so make sure you plan for at least 3-4 days working on them. The hardest part is figuring out exactly what you want and how to arrange the flowers and greenery to match. I can post some pictures if you'd like to see how they turned out.

I ordered my bouquets from Etsy but the wait is 6-8 weeks for most bouquets.
i ordered flowers for my centerpieces from solawoodflowers.com and those came in the mail in 3 days but they are loose and stemless.
Your best bet is to order loose flowers and build your bouquets yourself because of your short timeline. There are a lot of videos on how to do so on solawoodflowers.com

The photo is similar to why my centerpieces will look like.

I will elt you know unless you are purchasing from a vendor on like etsy or something 3 weeks is cutting it close :/ I ordered my sola wood flowers way in advance and shipping took about 5-7 business days! It was crazy! I made my own though and I had fun and I'm glad I did, I love my finished products and came out way cheaper doing them myself than using etsy vendors.
