Safe & Affordable All Inclusive Honeymoon Destinations??

We are trying to plan our honeymoon & want to stay somewhere all-inclusive but as soon as we decide on a place we hear something that sends us running the other way. For example, we were looking at Swept Away Resorts in Jamaica then my dad tells me that his friend's lawyer stayed in Jamaica & the villa he was renting was broken into in the middle of the night & he & his family were tied up, beaten & robbed! I just want to stay somewhere safe, so def. not Mexico, but does anyone have any other suggestions??

I forgot to add, I second what Shannon posted. I never travel with real jewelry both in the US or in the tropics.

I've been looking at a lot of the castles in Ireland. Veyr peaceful and beautiful. Very quiet, which I personally like. Ive checked at Ashford Castle, and other castles around Galway. OoOO also try out the Waterford Castle. They are beautiful and you can also do horseback riding, fishing, diving, trail walks, and tons of other things including going into local cities and trying out the traditional Irish music and pub atmosphere

My niece honeymooned in Mexico and while they were on a snorkeling excursion some guy was mowed down by a machine gun on the beach at their Hotel.
