Same style vs different

I really like all girls in their own style and my girls all look the same but in their own. I picked a color that was easy for them all to find their own dresses at different stores/boutique in the price they felt comfortable. Not sure if dusty blue is an easy color to find or if is often in between colors.

I am having my girls in any long style they’d like in maroon. 4/6 have found theirs so far, 3 from David’s bridal and one from Lulus.

Thanks for the reply! Very pretty! Azazie allows you to order up to 3 styles to try on before ordering. I'm going to do that to see what styles/material they like and look best in.

Davids bridal does not carry my color choice yet, unfortunately. I like the idea of them having their own style but kind of flows together with the others.

Because of the theme of my wedding my bridesmaids are wearing the same dress.

Mine all had different dresses and I thought they all looked great!

My sister asked us to get dark green short lacy dresses, and they came from all over! I believe H&M, Nordstrom Rack, and JcPenny was where each was from.
You don’t have to use the same shop, just give an idea of what you’d like!

I just told all the girls a colbalt blue dress but I am not into the uniform look

I think it’s a personal preference, having been a bridesmaid 9 times, I always rather choose my dress but I was also happy to wear whatever the bride wanted! I let my girls choose but I prefer the mismatched look

I chose a color and length from azazie and let my girls pick their own dresses. My decision on this was partly a little selfish, it took one decision off my plate lol, but it also gave them the freedom to find a style that they were comfortable in. My overarching theme of the wedding is a little “mismatched” but cohesive so it fits well. When everyone had picked their dresses I noticed that every dress had at least one element of another (ex: one has a draped back, while another has draped sleeves, etc) so they will tie together really well and I’m excited to see them together. Ultimately, I think it comes down to personal preference and although letting them choose their own is very popular lately, there is still nothing wrong with choosing for them if it is what you like.

I will say I used the same color and started out having them pick their own style dress. However, I QUICKLY realized that’s not an easy to color to use if you want them picking different dresses, unless you’re REALLY not picky about colors. That blue is different in almost every brand (Sometimes it almost has a purple tint to it, some are darker, etc.). In the end I just had hem wear the same one. It was easier.
But I’m definitely not trying to talk you out of what you want by any means. I’m just sharing my personal experience. You may not care as much as me. Regardless, I know they’ll look great.

My sister (MOH) & I went looking today and with all the different designers, all the colors looked different. But now considering azazie where I know the color will match. Going to order some sample dresses in diff styles for them to try.

They took about 6 weeks to come in and although I haven’t seen any of them in person (we are all spread out) everyone is really happy with them! An added bonus that I forgot to mention earlier is that they had a little more control of how much they spent on their dresses through azazie because there were a range of prices so I liked that

If you love the dress then choose it. Make it easy on yourself.

When we were shopping for dresses I told my girls I didn't care what they wore as long as it was Steel Blue from DB. I didn't care about length, neckline, etc. Since they were paying for their dresses I wanted them to be comfortable with their choices. I loved everything they chose and I can't wait to see them all in their dresses come December.
