Sam's Club Cake

melissa, on October 8, 2017 at 5:42 PM Posted in Planning 0 15

Has anyone gone through Sam's Club for their tiered wedding cake? My original baker fell through and im only 3 months out with other bakery options not available now.

I would consider doing a cupcake tower and just buying the smalll bride and groom cake for the top. Its definitely cheaper anyway and you don't have to worry about cake cutting

Haven't had Sam's Club cakes, but love our local Publix bakery cakes. My sister had it at her wedding. They only need a four week notice for the order. That is the route I plan to go.

We dont have any Publix close to me, and we do plan on doing cupcakes and a bride cake. I ran into the problem with the cake, i plan on making my own cupcakes per guest request.

I definitely wouldn't try to take that (making your own cupcakes) on for the wedding. As long as you do a tasting I don't see there being any problem with using Sams

Don't make the cupcakes. You really don't need that stress and time suck the day before your wedding.

My father and his fiance insisted that they bought us a cake from Sam's Club! They stated that they bought a cake a while back for a party, and it turned out amazing! At first, we were unsure about this, but after speaking to many others about Sam's Club cakes, everyone who had tried them before said that they were delicious! The only thing is that they didn't have much of a selection to choose from, so we ended up getting a plain white tiered cake with simple white icing decor. we are going to buy flowers to dress it up with the day of. They also have BEAUTIFUL cupcakes; 8 cupcakes for not quite $8. So we ordered a tiered cake with an assortment of cupcakes.

Yupp!! We're getting ours through Sam's club and I love the quality of their cakes already. The 3 tier is $64.98 and a 30 count of cupcakes is $14.98

I have thought of doing this and one of my co-workers said the cake there is good! We were just going to get a small 2 tier cake for us and do the rest cupcakes or sheet cake to save some money.
