Sams club flowers!

Jayden, on May 19, 2017 at 11:04 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 16

I want to do fresh flowers from sams club and I have a lot of help to assemble them! Any tips or suggestions in doing this? If anybody has pictures of their own diy bouquets it would be so helpful!

Order a trial and practice. Assembling your own bouquets will be a lot harder, and more time consuming, than you think. Also, they need to be stored in a cool place with fresh water. Stems need to be trimmed every day, and you will need to consider how you're going to transport all of them.

I am ordering hydrangeas in bulk from Sam's Club for our centerpieces. I am going to order a bundle for my bridal shower to test it out.

They sell bouquet packages. Do not attempt to do this yourself, but buy the package and have it delivered 3 days in advance to fully open.

I would definitely agree that you should get some flowers ahead of time and practice putting the bouquet together. That way you know how much time you will need to put it together. It will also help you get a feel for what it will look like and give you time to change what flowers you are ordering if you don't have the right look. We are doing our own flowers, and we got flowers ahead of time and put together a sample bouquet and centerpieces. It was really helpful (and fun). We actually ended up changing what flowers we wanted in the centerpieces.

Just be careful. I was considering Sams club flowers but the reviews were concerning about the delivery service not the quality. Some people did not get them until after the wedding.

I'm considering doing my own flowers too, but I am going to be using bloomsbythebox.com , they've got great reviews and a lot of different choices.

Commenting, because this is my plan as well! We are not having extravagant floral displays -- bouquets at the tables, my bouquet, and some decorations at the ceremony. I am not having a bridal party.

I am considering purchasing corsages for our moms and his Nana though.

A BM and I did our bouquets the morning of, and really it wasn't stressful at all for us.

Supplies I bought that you might want to use: wire cutters, floral wire, floral tape, and ribbon.

I am planning to use Sams. My friend is using them for her wedding in 3 weeks. That will give me a chance to see how hard it is to keep the flowers cool and arrange the bouquets.

I have heard that the flowers sometimes come in late.

Any one have experience buying bulk and having the florist arrange? My MOB is insisting that ordering our own flowers will help cut costs (which I agree) but I definitely don't want to be assembling and arranging the morning of my wedding. This makes me sound like a princess but I just want to enjoy the day stress free

Costco flowers. Delivered on Wednesday. Arranged on Friday for a Saturday wedding. It was fun for us but we wanted something simple.

My aunt did this too, they were all arranged on Friday morning for a Saturday wedding. Simple sunflowers!
