Sam’s Club Tiered cakes

Dayla, on May 6, 2018 at 6:02 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 14
So my fiancé and I decided the one area we didn’t care as much about was the cake. We are strongly leaning towards buying a 3 tier cake from Sam’s Club and 2 sheet cakes and having it pre-cut in the back.
Can anyone who has purchased a tiered cake from Sam’s post their pictures? I know it tastes great, just want to see how they actually turn out. Thanks!

I used to do demos for the Seattle Sam's Club (7years) before it closed down. I wanted to get my cake there. The cakes they have taste great, are beautiful, and unless you tell someone, most people wouldn't be able to tell that you got it from Sam's vs. A specialty bakery.

Saving HUNDREDS! The 3 tier cakes cost about $70. Sheet cakes (full sheet cake) is $40.

For our wedding we’re feeding about 240. We were quoted anywhere from $850 to over $1000 for a cake to feed that many.

Follow. I have seen and tasted Sams cakes. They’re delicious. My only concern would be them messing up what I wanted. A friend of mine got a cake for a communion and they wrote “Holly Communion” instead of Holy. Also I’m super excited about cake tasting (I’m on the Keto diet, so this will be a huge treat) I know Sams is definitely the more affordable route.

We highly considered this initially. The only reason we didn't is because the venue requests using a baker from their list. But honestly I think Sam's club is the way to go

We would be using Sams club if it wasn't for one of our friends is a professional cake baker and we love her cakes. We have however used Sams for a lot of church events for cupcakes and sheet cakes. Never the 3 tier but they are pretty.
