Sam's versus flower moxie

Susan, on March 15, 2019 at 1:19 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9

Anyone have floral experience with either?

I have used Sam's for a baby shower 5 years ago, just got Hydrangeas and Baby's Breath and I was 100% satisfied.

I can get the Medium package from Flower Moxie that would be just enough for everything that we need for 630.00.

Sam's would be 626.00 for everything priced out, but I did have to sub out Snapdragons - but I would have a surplus of flowers, more wiggle room so to speak.

Just wondering if any one had experience from these two vendors.
Thanks in advance!

I don’t know if this tag will work but @FutureMrsCK posted a VERY in-depth review on Sams Club including photos- long story short she loved it and saved A LOT of money vs paying a florist

I'm mixing it up with a florist for bouquets, boutonnieres and tall centerpieces. I will be utilizing Wegmans for my low centerpieces of hydrangeas, white roses and peonies.

I just purchased my flowers through Flower Moxie last week! Originally I was going to do Sams Club but Flower Moxie was less than $100 more expensive and they have more of a variety of the flowers I wanted. A big pro about Flower Moxie compared to Sams is that you can order a type of flower in quantities as small as 10 stems. This was great for me because I wanted a bunch of different kinds of flowers in my bouquet, so luckily I didn't have to buy such large quantities of each and waste money. The customer service with Flower Moxie is also top notch and were so helpful in customizing what I wanted and helping me decided exactly how much of each flower to get and how many stems I would need for the bouquets and centerpieces.

In my opinion the only thing Sam has better than Flower Moxie is free shipping, which is a nice perk. Flower Moxie charges a flat fee of $65 for shipping, unless you live near by one of their shops and can pick it up. Hope this helps!

I actually havn't gotten my flowers yet, I just placed the order! My wedding is in October and I will definitely post about how the whole process went when I get them. I am a little nervous about creating everything too but I just looked up a lot of DIY videos on youtube and have a lot of picture inspo. Flower Moxie also has DIY videos as well, and there is a blog posting on the website about all the supplies you will need!
