Help! We want to do a destination bachelorette party in San Diego. We aren't worried about what to do at night, there's plenty, but we can't come up with any ideas on what to do during the day for 2 days. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a couple of things I would suggest:

    1. Beach!!!

    2. Belmont Park/Boardwalk at Mission Beach (http://www.belmontpark.com/)

    3. Balboa Park has museums, gardens, and other attractions (http://www.balboapark.org/)

    4. eat Mexican food!!! (stay away from chains and look for small, family run places... you must try Carne Asada Fries, a San Diego original)

    5. Walk around the Gaslamp District in downtown--there is also a Hustler store here, so B-party goodies are easy to pick up! (http://www.gaslamp.org/)

    6. Shopping!!! The Las Americas Outlets near the US-Mexico border are great for designer stuff at bargain prices (http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=76)

    7. If you have passports, go to Mexico... but, I would avoid Tijuana and head a little farther like Ensenada

    I hope you have fun!!!!

Just enjoy one another and relax, plan a nice brunch somewhere and have mimosas... have a spa day, go shopping... there is probably soooooooo much you can do there you will not be bored at all... but HEY let your bridesmaids plan this part!!! Smiley smile

Well from experience the gaslamp district is FUN!!

Stay at the Hard Rock Hotel for the ULTIMATE red carpet rock star treatment.

Rooms are so amazing you may opt to stay in!

    Just made for luxury enjoyment.

walking around the area is easy and lots of galleries and night spots.

    Alternative day tripping-

Want some great food and knowledge go to The Prado and have a gourmet lunch and browse the museums and zoo.

Funky fun- try Old Town with its fun shops and a stop at Baja Rockin lobster for Margaritas and amazing buckets of food to share. FUN!!!!

I have seen many brides and her ladies laughing and having a ball here.

Spooky Fun take a ghost tour or visit the Whaley house!

Old town also has an awesome street fair so check the local listings for streets and days.

    have fun

I see someone said do Mexico! NOOOOOO!!!!!

Single ladies partying in Mexico near TJ may become victims!!

Its sad to say but there are travel warnings now for this area. Not one to be in after dark these days!

I live in San Diego. What types of ideas for activities do you have? Do you want to pamper yourselves, do brunch and shop, snorkel or scuba dive...etc. This will help tremendously if you have an idea of what type of thing you want to do. There are lots of awesome brunch places, places to site see, spas, boating experiences and so much more. Let me know more info. and I can find some cool things for you guys to do. DO NOT go to Mexico now. It's not a good idea considering the things that have been going on.

Kayaking at La Jolla Coves would be great considering the weather is warming up. Old Town is a great option too for a bit of culture and drinks if you're up to it. Check out a show at Viejas (a casino) Humphreys by the Bay or House of Blues.

It all really depends on what you ladies are into.
