We're going to Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay for our honeymoon! I did a LOT of research, and Sandals hit all of our must-haves: adults only, beautiful beaches, and good food and drinks. Plus it's truly all-inclusive - restaurants, watersports, and no tipping allowed. It was pricier than other all-inclusives, but from what I've read, totally worth it. So far I'm way more excited about the honeymoon than the wedding!
Check out trip advisor. They have awesome pics and reviews. That's what we did. We ended up picking a brand new resort secrets playa mujeres in Mexico. I was lookin at at Lucia sandals and did a lot of research. Reason we didn't end up there is we wanted an upgraded room not sure the bottom leave. Their smallest resort didn't really have any room upgrades. The middle resort had quiet a few unfortunately reviews that the rooms really needed to be upgraded and renovations done. Also our travel agent told us they have heard that from other clients. The biggest resort was just a bit out of what we wanted to spend for the upgraded rooms. Also out first classes flights to Mexico were still cheaper than coach to st Lucia which def swung FH mind.
You should look at sandals emerald bay in the Bahamas or if Mexico is an option any of the secrets, el dorado, or Sun palace. Sandals is nice because it's couples only as well as sun palace. Secrets and el dorado is adults only but not specifically couples.
We are going to Sandals Ochi in Ocho Rios Jamaica....read A LOT of reviews on TripAdvisor and it was recommended by Kelly from @Travel By Kelly on WW. We were going to do Secrets in Cozumel but with the things that we wanted, Sandals was the better choice. Plus, we're doing a butler suite!! @Tega, glad you had a good time, makes me more confident in our choice!!

Congrats on your engagement!
Sandals Resorts are nice resorts and you have lots of them to chose from. Make sure it`s right resort for your desires.
Alternatives I would suggest are Secrets Resorts in Jamaica, Dominican Republic & Mexico or El Dorado Resorts in Riviera Maya, Mexico. All those are adults-only and all-inclusive resorts.

Forgot to add something.. If your heart is really set on Sandals brand.. the newest hottest destination and resort is Sandals La Source Grenada. Amazing place!
Sandals Barbados is another new destination to discover!
We looked into the St. Lucia Sandals resorts, but it was much more expensive than Jamaica. Plus, there was a two-hour shuttle ride from the airport and we would have had to fly to a connecting flight a full day ahead of check-in, so that didn't work out for us. It was our initial top choice though! (Mostly from watching The Bachelor, it looked so beautiful!)
St. Lucia was where we originally thought we wanted to go, but, we just couldn't find anywhere there in our price range. We're going to adult-only, all-inclusive Couples San Souci in Ocho Rios Jamaica. The reviews were good and it has the seclusion and Caribbean feel we wanted for the right price. It may not be as posh as Sandals though in terms of accomodations...
We are also doing Sandals Royal Caribbean and went with a butler suite. my FI has always been most excited about the honeymoon and I'm about to that point too!
Everyone I have talked to that went to Sandals loved it and highly recommended it.
We're going to Sandals Negril. I originally wanted to go to Mexico, but my TA highly recommended Negril. Fingers crossed it will be as good as she promised!
My FH does not want to go to Jamaica or DR. We also want to get out of the resort and see around. After some research those 2 are not so safe. I discovered that the beach at st Lucia is not great. So I'm looking now at Aruba, Mexico maybe Costa Rica. Barbados. Let's see
We are doing the Sandals Grande in St Lucia. We knew 2 couples that went and they talked us into it. We went through a travel agent. We thought it was a little more expensive than usual but felt like we couldn't pass it up. It looks gorgeous. We are going in November.
We are going to Sandals Ochi in September. For me, it just had everything we were looking for without the stress of planning. A one stop shop! Lots of activities, beaches, seclusion, restaurants....all in one package. Plus, it wasn't TOO far away. We didn't want to do anything too crazy after all the wedding stuff because we both get a little homesick after a while.
