Sandals Resorts- Making dinner reservations in advance?

NCErin, on April 25, 2014 at 12:18 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 4

We just booked our honeymoon to St. Lucia- staying at Sandals La Toc- SO excited!

I looked through some old threads on here and girls mentioned that a few of the places needed reservations- and some had to be done almost a month in advance. My travel agent said you can't make reservations until you are there. Did any of you try to call early and make reservations at a few places prior to going? Did they let you? I'm not in a butler room, very basic room, not sure if that makes a difference?

Thanks!

When I went to Sandals back in 2007 (??? maybe 2008) - we called the resort directly and made all of our reservations before we left the mainland.

I think we had everything done and scheduled about 5 weeks before we left.

And no it doesnt matter if you have a butler room or not - the only advantage to a butlered room is that they do all the calling for you once you get there.

I would also suggest booking any "must do" activities prior to your arrival - we missed out on 3 because they were full...yup - seems stupid I made dinner reservations and no activity reservations - total goof up on my part.

Oh well always next time for those activities!

I was curious about the same... Didn't know whether or not we have to book activities/dinners before the trip. We are going to the Grand Bahamian.
