Sandals resorts. Yes/No/Overrated?

Alison, on February 22, 2016 at 7:34 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 7

I'm looking into booking our honeymoon with sandals (especially since it's All Inclusive). Has anyone ever stayed with Sandals resorts? How was it? Where is the best location? Is it really All Inclusive? FYI- budget is a little tight.

If Budget is tight - Sandals may not be your best option. There is a number of all inclusives and really all inclusives that can be a lot less costly and deliver a very good experience. I am a professional in the honeymoon destination specialty more than happy to assist if you like.

Never been to one, but I think overrated. I think there are much more beautiful options besides Sandals.

It depends on the resort. It's might not be the cheapest depending on the location, but it also includes water sports and tipping isn't allowed in the resorts. For the country were going to (Grenada) it was the best option, and there are nothing but amazing reviews for that particular resort.

My advice would be to settle on a potential area or two, look at all your options to see what is included in the price, reviews, and take into account average flight costs and times and make your decision that way. I wouldn't rule out Sandals all together.

I've stayed at Sandals, and I'm getting married at Sandals EB. It's all inclusive, but all the depends on the resort and or room category. I agree there are other beautiful all inclusive resorts beside Sandals.

I have never been yet, but we booked our honeymoon for Sandals Ochi Beach in Jaimaica. They are usually pretty expensive, but they offer promotions all the time. We got ours for a really good price. It was about 50% off during a special promotion. I like the idea of everything being included so you don't have to worry about anything once you are there.

Sandals is the only all-inclusive that I've been to but H and I both loved it and said we'll go back. The drinks were great (loved not having to even put a room #), food was wonderful, beaches nice, rooms were clean and well stocked. When I did research, the question a lot of times was either or not the food was good.
