Sandals Royal Bahamian or Sandals Emerald Bay Honeymoon

Michelle, on December 12, 2015 at 9:32 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6

I know I posted about a honeymoon in the Keys but my fiancé and I are really trying to figure out where we want to go. Another place we are considering is Sandals. Does anybody have experience with these resorts?

We were considering Sandals which is very nice but you pay a premium and we got a great deal on our honeymoon (We went to Riviera Maya) and still got great service. For example, Sandals was going to be about $4500 for the cheapest resort in Caribbean for 6 days but where we ended up staying was $2000 for 7 days

    Hi Michelle,

I have been to many, and have lots of experience with Sandals resorts. Each one is extremely different and has many inclusions, lots of restaurant options, and wonderful on and offsite activities. Some Sandals even offer shared exchange privileges with other Sandals resorts in the area, meaning you can stay at one, and play at others.

Emerald Bay is an amazing choice for those that like an extremely quiet, luxury resort in the Bahamas with an amazing Greg Norman Golf course and gorgeous white sand beaches. Most of the tours available here are water-based, and more than half of the rooms face the ocean. This resort has 21 different room categories, which can often be quite confusing to couples. A Certified Sandals Travel Specialist can help you make sense of this, and match you to the perfect resort based on both of your personalities, and needs.

I've stayed at the Royal Bahamian two years ago over the New Year holiday. It was a great resort! We especially loved the private island! There's so many private cabanas you can hang out in throughout the property. We found the little island to be very romantic! We also enjoyed the nightlife and great restaurants. You won't be disappointed.

We went to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica, and we loved it! The all-inclusive aspect is great. I enjoyed not having to worry about our meals or the quality of the water we were drinking. The beach was beautiful, and there were tons of activities to keep us occupied. We also did an excursion through the resort to kayak and zipline on one of Jamaica's rivers. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The Sandals staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat!
