Sangria recipe?!

Savanah, on October 25, 2016 at 11:01 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7

Hey ladies! My bridal shower will be at my home! My moh and I LOVE sangria but I can't say either of us have ever made it at home. I'd like to make a sangria bar as pictured below. Can you guys give me a red and a white recipe? I intend on adding fruit to the inside as well as outside for garnish but what are your go-to recipes for this? My favorite sangria ever was don pablos... then it closed Smiley sad bummer! I really love the sweet sweet tasting and not the sour tasting If that gives you a reference but hell, I'll drink any. (;

I really want to make this one but I haven't had the chance to yet. So I have not personally tried it but it looks good! http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2014/10/22/honeycrisp-apple-sangria/

This probably doesn't do you much good since it's a fall sangria recipe and I'm guessing it might not go with the time of year your shower will be, but it's DELICIOUS!!! One of my friends had it at her wedding a few weekends ago and Mmmmm, that stuff is dangerously delicious! I don't think this is the exact recipe she used (she said hers had cinnamon sticks in it), but it's close enough and I'm sure pretty tasty too Smiley smile

This is my favorite white and it's not too sweet:

Pour a bottle of white (I use Monkey Bay sauvignon blanc) in a pitcher with frozen peach slices, frozen raspberries, lemon, lime, and orange slices. Add a cup of raspberry flavored vodka (I use Svedka). Let it sit in the fridge over night, and before serving, add a bottle of champagne and stir.

This is my favorite sangria recipe. We've made it for parties and everyone loves it.

    Ingredients

2 bottles red Spanish table wine

    1 cup brandy

    1/2 cup triple sec

    1 cup orange juice

    1 cup pomegranate juice

1/2 cup simple syrup, or more to taste (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves, cooled)

    Orange slices

    Apple slices

    Blackberries

Mix all ingredients together and let stand in a tightly sealed container or pitcher for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator before serving.

I was a bartender for a number of years and everyone asks for the recipe for the sangria I made there! It sounds like a lot of alcohol, but trust me it is delicious.

1 large (1.5 liter) bottle of wine (red or white)

    1.5 cups peach schnapps

    1 cup triple sec

    1/4 cup brandy

    1/4 cup silver tequila

Sprite orange and pineapple juice to taste (usually 1/2 bottle each)

Yumm okay!! My shower isn't until may 6th but this Will give me plenty of time to make and try all these sangrias with my best friend (; I'm also hosting a family Christmas party so I intended on making a batch and seeing how it went over so that's the reason for the early recipes!
