Sapphire for September

First and foremost congrats on your engagement and welcome to Wedding Wire! My fiance and I are also September babies! Our birthdays are 2 days apart. As far as your wedding goes, my advice to you is to do what YOU want. Your friends/guests have no right to tell you what you can and can not do for YOUR wedding. If the colors are really that much of an issue for them, then they have no reason being there. It's about the love and support they have for you. Don't let anyone get in the way of what you want unless it's something that can't physically be done due to seasonal reasons. Color is not one of them. Have fun and make your vision come to life.

Sapphire is my birthstone too and one of my favorite colors. It’s YOUR day and you should do what you want!!!

Sapphire would be so pretty! My wedding will be in the fall and I'm doing a deep shade of blue (lighter than Navy but darker than royal). Do what makes YOU happy. You don't have to be traditional or go with what anyone else thinks. The color scheme isn't going to affect their mood.

I'm a huge fan of picking the colors that you want and ignoring the seasonal palettes if that isnt what you want!! Go for it! Sapphire is also my birthstone!

Pick the colors you love! Just cause it's fall doesn't mean you have to have a fall themed wedding. Maybe it would be weird if it was April and you did a Christmas themed wedding but colors done correctly can be done at any time of the year.

It's YOUR wedding and you can do whatever you want. Who cares if you don't do fall colors? You'll stand out that much more! Do what means most to you and makes your heart happy

Choose any colors you want! It's your wedding, not theirs. I'd look around Etsy! They have lots of great wedding decor and can even custom make pieces for you
