My cake is four tiers and will cost $750. I knew walmart sold wedding cakes but just didn't really think about it. But I was in walmart today and I saw that I could get a 3 tier cake and cupcakes for under $200 I was like that's a $550 savings!!!!! But I would have to have someone pick it up. What...

My cake is four tiers and will cost $750. I knew walmart sold wedding cakes but just didn't really think about it. But I was in walmart today and I saw that I could get a 3 tier cake and cupcakes for under $200 I was like that's a $550 savings!!!!! But I would have to have someone pick it up. What would you do?????

    Hi, yes you do need a membership. Or ask friends and family if they have one. You can also check groupon to see if they have a deal on membership. You'd be saving so much money on the cake there, you can just purchase the membership.

    I heard that Walmart cakes are actually really good. Go for it. Unless you say it's from Walmart nobody will know any different. I'm getting my cupcakes at Hyvee (grocery store). And my bff owns a bakery. At the end of the day it's your pocketbook.

    They are actually good. But I have an update. I went to a wedding show and found a baker that I liked. Her prices were only slightly cheaper but tasted much better than my original baker. So I was able to cancel for a full refund. Not only that, if I make the cake 3 tiers instead of 4 I am able to do a dessert table and the cake for only $100 more than the original baker was charging just for the cake. And my new cake will look like this instead of the other one. I figured since my table runners and invitations will have stripes my cake might as well have them also
